What keeps your seat
The game stores progress locally in your browser and uses a first-party visitor cookie for browser-linked server saving. Optional accounts store your chosen handle and a salted password hash. Hosting providers process network requests to deliver the site.
Do not reuse an important password for this prototype. Accounts do not currently provide email recovery or cross-device game-save sync. Clearing browser storage or cookies can affect access to your saved seat.
Optional measurement
If you allow it, the game records limited daily events such as visits, hand starts and finishes, daily-puzzle progress, resumes, and refills against a separate pseudonymous browser identifier. The analytics tables do not store hand histories, chip balances, names, emails, passwords, page URLs, IP addresses, device fingerprints, or session recordings.
Consent expires after 35 days. Older measurements are excluded then and purged on the next measurement request. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control are respected. Dashboard reports are grouped and suppress groups below five browsers.
In the Account screen, open Privacy & measurement to see your choice. “Keep off / delete measurements” removes that browser’s measurement records without deleting your game. It does not delete unrelated hosting logs.
Accounts and deletion
The Account screen lets you log out, remove an opted-in leaderboard score, or request password-confirmed account deletion. Account deletion and browser-local game progress are separate; clear site data in your browser if you also want to remove local progress.
This page explains the current technical behavior. Operator contact details and a complete legal privacy notice are still being finalized; do not treat the prototype as a service with established account-recovery support.
